- This type of shoot is for one baby/child and a sibling, this because 0f limited space in the home studio.
Capturing milestones is one of my favourite things to do. I know how quickly little ones grow - blink and you miss it, especially with the busy lives that we all live.
This type of shoot enables a little moment to be a frozen, to remember exactly how they smile, that face they pull or that one outfit that you just love and you know they are going to grow out of all too soon.
Here's what you can expect:
- Flexibility: As with all my shoots, your little one(s) take the lead. The aim of my sessions is to be as stress free as possible. Snack breaks and playtime are welcome and expected.
- A comfortable environment: The beauty of these sessions is they are in my own home - the home of two small children so there are plenty of toys around if/when a little break is needed and obviously somewhere to change you little one.
- The set up: I keep these shoots minimal when it comes to decoration and props. I'm not one for fussy backdrops. This is about your little one, the details, no distractions. There will be a simple neutral backdrop, a few balloons if it's a birthday and some beautiful wooden toys.
- I use natural window light, so no big equipment everywhere.
- If you would like a cake smash shoot, I'm here for it!! Embrace the mess! You will need to provide a cake for this. I will provide a simple wooden cake stand and your little one can go for it.
- I will take some photos before and after the cake smash so we have some mess free ones too.
- Expert Guidance: I will guide you and your little one ensuring everyone feels comfortable infront of the camera. I can also provide some advice on outfit choices.
By the end of the shoot, you'll have a collection of beautiful, high-quality photos that you can cherish for years to come.
